Great video. A lot of time invested. Just a couple suggestions for next time. For one I like the jump in during the final half inning but if nothing crazy happens it can be cleaned up in editing to shorten the vid. #2 is I would just let the sim happen instead of intervening for pitching changes. For example the Reds might have left Greene in and won. Finally, as tempting as it is to blow the logos up to fit newly acquired territory, I would resist and leave them small and go directions from the logo only to clean up confusion on where a team should advance to. Also as others have mentioned, stealing a player from losing team is a good idea. Just don't steal an SP unless they're better than the current starter because it seems as if the same SP starts every game so it would be a waste of a steal

When a team takes an unowned territory: Spin the Wheel of their top 10 players or all MLB players on the team that took the territory and whatever player that it lands on gets a +2 OVR, or even more in depth you could put a wheel with every possible attribute and you buff that attribute that it lands on by 5. Obviously it would be kinda long but super interesting and fun. Tip would be probably just make a wheel with all the positions and just upgrade whatever best player at that position by 2 OVR or by the attribute wheel. When a team overtakes a territory owned by a different team: You then take their best player and put it on the team that overtook the territory. This would be a fairly simple but fun one.

Fun video would enjoy more rounds of this, some suggestions are winners gets 2 players joining their army from the loosing army, randomizing the starting point where let’s say the rays start at where the angels would normally be at just random put locations to spice it up, another thing is give a advantage to one’s who conquer alot of land get a checked change life where if they win the first game again a team with little land conquer they get that land right there, if they loose that first game they get to enter a beat 2 out of 3 and have to win the next two games against that team to conquer the land but are not done after one game, these are all my suggestions

Craziest finish ever! No one could have expected it. I was laughing each time they dodged the wheel, saying that they’d make it to the final 4. Then when the Cardinals matchup came up I was saying I don’t care if they lose the final just beat the Cardinals. Against the Twins it’s unbelievable that Patrick Wisdom hit a grand slam down 2 to retake the lead and then to hang on with Rowan Wick as the closer in Wrigley Field no less for the Cubs to be crowned champions again. Wow man just wow.

Two suggestions 1. Stealing players for taking territories 2. In order for aces to not be pitching all the time, you should say that every "turn" is one day of rest, and that players cannot pitch on back to backs or that starters are on normal rest. So if on turn 30 Jacob deGrom pitches, he should not be able to pitch on turn 31, 32, 33 or 34. It shows more of a full team concept. Plus, you can take/steal starting pitching from other teams.

great vid, i would make a few changes next time. have the winning team take the best player from the losing team, increase a teams best players attributes if they claim an unclaimed state, use a directional arrow spinner to make it more precise, and (cheat the cubs another win!!!)

I love that this has become such a trend. I know the standard change would be to take the best player from the losing team, but I think with only 9 guys on the field, you lose the character of the team itself pretty quickly. It ends up being something like the Rockies vs. the west coast all stars. Maybe it could be adapted to take a bullpen pitcher to help strengthen the team? Another idea is that a team works through their rotation. First game the Mets play you have Scherzer, but the next game they play you start Verlander and so on. It makes for an interesting dynamic the more a team plays.
