What the hell is that damn game anyway. I didn't grow up in America and i don't get anything. I have seen several baseball videos now and I still don't understand any of the rules. Why do they start to play catch all of the sudden? Why does the guy with the bat wear head protection and the guy throwing the ball, who (i'd think) is way more in danger because he is directly in front of the bat guy, not? Why are the spectators not protected? In football (or as you call it: soccer) the organizers are worried about the well being of the spectators eventhough the ball is a very light one and in baseball, where the ball is hard as a brick, the spectators seem completely unprotected. This game is a mystery to me.

That first one must be a manager's worst nightmare. Bases loaded, no outs, chance to pull within one, and they triple play to end the inning on your team's lack of coordination.

I literally spent 10 minutes rewatching that first play until I understood what the heck happened and why everyone did what they did. Baseball is complex.

I'm just not sure what caused the Sparks to fly on the second mask hit.
@AnonymousKorn5 жыл бұрын
Julian Morales-Silva he threw it so fast that it must have hit the mask at angle to create a spark. Since the mask is metal it's easier to do. That's my guess anyways.

@@bmsvg7356 yeah in the US you usually get arrested if you run on the field, and like they said they normally dont even show it on TV, they only showed it cause the player tripped him (they think if they show it, it encourages more people to do it just to end up on TV)

There really should be a rule where if the player(s) mess up the running order (just like missing a base), then depending on how they mess up there should some kind of penalty. It's MLB after all.

@thediamonddasher86695 жыл бұрын
The catchers face mask is steel so when a ball comes at about 96mph it will cause enough friction and heat to cause a spark
