Not to suggest a prop but take a look at a hot Yordan Alvarez against Chris Bassitt career numbers. Good Lord!!! Oak just saw Conteras and hit him hard. Gotta go Oakland ML. Also Seattle against any strikeout heavy right hander. Take the ov Burnes ov 8.5 ladder to 11 Like the under Milwaukee/Colorado 10.5 wind blowing in alot again.

Burnes gave up 9 hits against Texas, sure. One home run, 8 singles (2 of them infield singles), no walks. Only 5 Ks, but Texas is not a strikeout team (7th fewest in MLB). He blew away Seager for the last out in the 7th - finished with 88 pitches through 7 innings, could've easily gone another inning. And then you call him a "strikeout-dependent pitcher"??? He's at 0.93 Ks/IP this year and still owns the #3 ERA in all of baseball. Seattle's lineup is abysmal. They've put up one run against Grayson Rodriguez and Dean Kremer in two games. Now they're facing potential All-Star starter Burnes. If you're taking the over, you should be hoping Baltimore has a huge day offensively. Sorry, it just bugs me when I hear things like "I haven't loved what I've seen from [Burnes]" - when he went 4-1 with a 2.12 ERA and only 13.6 pitches per inning in June, against good lineups... and then right afterwards "I think [Cal Quantrill] bounces back" with no reason given.

@monroemullinix5974 13 balls that were put into play off of Burnes by Texas were over 90 mph in terms of exit velocity. Eight of which were over 100 mph. The Rangers' expected batting average in that game was .316 (and the reason it wasn't higher was because of the 8th and 9th inning relief work, not Burnes). I think most people consider Burnes a strikeout pitcher (I mean he led the league in Ks just two years ago in 2022) and if he doesn't miss bats I worry about his game, yes. We can't forget that the previous start he had vs. HOU was also a bit dicey as he conceded two bombs, four earned, and yet again had less than a K per inning. HOU put 11 balls in play that were over 90 mph in exit velocity as well. All I am saying is that Burnes' recent form is a bit concerning and at such a low total with another favorable offensive matchup on the other side with BAL vs. Miller, the over is valuable in my eyes. Seattle K's left and right, so maybe Burnes can settle back in today, but there are also plenty of sluggers in this M's lineup that can take advantage of a starter who is giving up a lot of sharp contact recently.
