It may take some time to setup, but you can do it. Just setup the roster like you want before starting the franchise. Save the roster file just in case, then start the franchise with the current roster.

This is how you make a two-way player in MLB the show so you have to pitch 20 innings with him and you have to play 20 games in the field or DH you half to have 3 at bats

Yes, you can create more than one player. Just get your roster like you want it before you start your franchise

I don’t think you can add a new created player to a already started franchise

John Painter you have to; First Create player, Second go to save files, Third save the file, Fourth make the franchise and select your team, Finally you sign your player to a contract.

Anyone know what to put in for salary for created player? If I put in something realistic say 500k, when I go to franchise the free agent manager only says 'looking for 100k players'. If I accept that for my player his morale suffers. Seems any amount I put in generates problems, if I've designed a good player it seems unrealistic to set his salary expectation low.

How many created players can you create ? And can you just put them on any team you want or say multiple players on 1 2 or 3 teams ?

I don’t know if there’s a limit or not. But you could create different players and put them on different teams

Hey so I just made my custom player, I put it in a roster, then I download the roster so I can play with my player on franchise, so then it says he’s in the lineup but the simulation doesn’t play him but they play everyone else, Do you have any advice on how to get your custom player to play in franchise?

Did you put him in the lineup? All 4 lineups? If you did and it still takes him out, you gotta change the franchise settings to make the lineups manual so that they stay to how you set them

Yeah there are different lineups that are based on the pitcher that you face (left hand, right hand, etc).

So I created my player and didnt select the free agent pool and export option, just the free agent pool. I don't see my player anywhere. Hopefully you can help me out

There a few free agent pools. Are you sure he’s not in there? Did you save the roster file?

Yes, you can edit them. It’s the same as editing any player. Are you in franchise mode?

You should be able to edit the created player. Just load the roster, go into the roster, and select the player and edit him

Where it says Data utility click on that, then load the roster you saved him on. Go to roster control and go to the team you out him on and you should be able to find him and click on him and edit him. If it doesn’t work let me know.
