@@BirriaShow "With graphics getting better each generation" Lol, the current gen is not improving graphics at all, it only exists to make games run better (frame rate and resolution), that's why 80% of new games are still released on PS4... including this very game, which looks identical on PS4 and PS5.

I love The Show but man they've really slowed down the pitch speeds over the year. A 97 MPH fastball looks like its going about 77. I felt like the hitting was much more challenging in the older The Show games, mainly the ones from 2008-2016

@BirriaShow Looking forward to it. I love The Show, one of the best sports franchises, even though it never changes much, there's not a ton that needs fixing. Maybe just bring back some features that have been removed, such as being able to continue your franchise mode on the new game. Would like to see multiple commentary teams instead of just the one, the play by play needs some improving. But the gameplay itself is always top notch. I've bought every The Show game since 1998 when it was just 989 Sports MLB 98.

@@AntonVitullo I think MLB 09 has the pitch speed down just right. I'll put it this way, I played an exhibition game on 09 about 2 weeks ago, wish I remembered who the opposing pitcher was, but it was a Blue Jay's pitcher and he was throwing a 4 seam fastball about 93 MPH IIRC, that was pretty much the average speed of his fastball. And man I had to sit on the fastball to have a chance of connecting and not hitting to opposite field or fouling the pitch off. I played a game of MLB 23 on Tuesday and I played against the Angel's with Ohtani pitching. He was throwing I believe 100+, almost certain he hit 101 a handful of times, and it was much easier to square up on a 100 mile an hour fastball than it was to hit the 93 mile an hour fastball on MLB 09, and honestly it should be hard to time a fastball if you ain't looking for it. Just feels like they've made it a little too easy in more recent games to hit the fastball. 101 miles an hour shouldn't be easy to hit
