Such a small, easy thing but for the love of GAWD please make the option of custom stadium sounds to only occur during home games!! For continuity it would be nice to not hear those sounds in away games.

Great list Brandon! I would add more variety in the new draft classes. They do not generate nearly enough hitters (especially usable catchers) in the draft classes. Discovering prospects is nice, and you can find some real studs, but in general the players have way too many holes in their ratings and the A prospects are usually older (21-22) and have very low overalls (45-59), so they take until their late 20s to be useable at the MLB level. They need to eliminate RP/CP and just have a P position and let us determine if they are starters or relievers. Combining the lack of hitters in the draft, with the poor way progression/regresssion is done creates lower overalls for most teams once the older stars regress out of being useable. Give us a Madden style of progresssion/regression slider system!!

honestly i want stuff to happen for single a, for all tripple a and double a stats to actually stay for the players,in awards i want to see if they won the world series if they had the most strike outs, most innings etc also i would like internationl signings

Franchise needs to be like is use to be in like in the Show 2010 where you can manage different aspects of you’re club.. whether it was adding new equipment to keep players happy or adding things for the fans and changing prices of food and tickets

Franchise expansion similar to NBA 2k would also be a great addition. Idk if this one is a franchise idea or just a general feature but let me create a custom team BEFORE i go into franchise. I shouldn't have to start a new franchise just to create a custom team

I wish they would add a mode like “MyEras” that 2K has. I wanna play in the “Jackie Robinson and Mickey mantle Era” and “the Big red machine era” and “the Steroid Era” and then “the Moneyball era” need help on better alternative naming for the steroid era cause I’m aware that will never ever be used and licensed etc lol. Maybe the Sosa and McGurie era. Or expansion era. I need the WBC to have its own separate mode not half assed and part of diamond dynasty like we got no. It needs to be its own actual tab. With all the teams there for exhibition for quick play or online play or as a secondary tab in March to October as its own tournament format. Why can’t they add every single closer entrance for cut scenes? Why can’t they license the TBS and Fox broadcasts and us the player have the options to choose which one we want. add the Arizona fall league to franchise. If lame EA can include a transfer portal tab in CFB 25 than We should definitely expect MLB the Show to have a “Posting tab” with the proper deadline since they’ve shown all other accurate offseason deadlines. Is the Community can easily add in the Asian players ourselves. Also the International signing window for Franchise, we need accurate pool money allocation and prospects to bid for and sign, just have it secondary to the main free agent tab. Here’s for my real tall ask. Wish there was a tab for us in franchise to always upgrade our spring training and development complex’s and Dominican academies. They should allow expansion just like 2K does.

For player progression and regression. 2k did this well. Each player has like an age where their peak starts and ends. With like probability factor in there. So some simulations the player could drop off quicker but most times they would not. Couple things I would like to see. Bullpen logic. Tired of seeing long relief pitchers throw 100 plus innings with 6 eras and your setup guys only throwing 30 innings all season. My biggest one. More creativity. I mean give me the ability to actually create an expansion team. Change divisions. Playoff structure. Games are meant to be fun. Also not franchise per se. But sheesh give me the ability to not have bullpens on the field in create a stadium.

Feels like fans of The Show are waiting for the game to "take the step into the next generation." (Not even talking about consoles) The sport of Baseball has changed, for the better, in so many ways, yet we are still waiting for this video game to catch up. I didn't think about the advance stats until you brought it up, and I realized this is an Old Man Minded game in everyway possible. Franchise; Old. RTTS; Old. Front office logic; Old (minded).

We need to be able to see players advance stats like avg vs lhp rhp avg w risp playoffs stats dynamic ratings increases and decrease where some guys start of the season good end bad have a bad year but great post season with overall changes based on how they play just more analytical features since thats how MLBs is now ability to scout other players weather be by trade or upcoming Free agents and see how the numbers say they would fair in your lineup/stadium

Comprehensive analysis and wish list. For me, I gave up on franchise when DD was introduced and ramped up. One thing that would get me interested again would be playing with historic franchises. How much fun would it be to play with the ‘04 Red Sox, 30’s Yankees or 90’s Braves?

They need to overhaul the awards selection aspect a bit. In my franchise mode my team’s pitchers have won the CYA pretty much every year despite the fact that there were far better pitchers that season. For example one of my pitchers had like a 4.50 ERA and an even higher FIP, but because I had a good offense, he ended up having a lot of wins. The second place pitcher had a sub 3 ERA and FIP and had more strikeouts, but lost simply because my guy had more wins. I would also like to see a relationships aspect added to franchise kind of like you see in RTTS, but maybe revamp it a little. The relationship a team has with one another can be a big aspect of their success. Also, the relationship a catcher has with the pitching staff is really important. A good “thinking” catcher can really improve a mediocre pitching staff. It’s the reason guys like Jeff Mathis and Martin Maldonado were around the league for so long despite being below average hitters. It would be kinda cool to see that modeled in game. It would add a neat strategical aspect to the game. Like would you rather have some additional offense at the catcher position or would you rather take a hit offensively for a guy that can manage your pitchers better.

My biggest wish for offline franchise is options for abbreviated seasons. I want an option to play a 26 game season. No one has time for 162 full games.

They should make it European football league style option where you play each team home and away so it’s a 58 game season. Top 8 make seeded playoffs and you can customise how many games each series is

As a roster creator(formerly the O.S.F.M creator)..but now historical rosters... I would love to be able to export players from franchise rosters in order to transfer them to newly created rosters. Also bring back continuing franchises from previous versions of the game. I would also LOVE to be able to edit in stats. -Be able to edit managers and coaches would be nice. -In game breaks of other game highlights would be great....or at least have the announcers talk about other games from that day going on in the league.

They should add baseball player brawls as just for something fun and random since there have been fights shown on KZbin. Even add a mini-game mode where you can do that. Add more remixed music of SNES Ken Griffey Jr’s presents MLB since MLB The Show 17. Show pictures of the stadiums being selected. This may sound random but I thought it would be at least one thing that can be added for more replay value.

My biggest complaint about franchise mode is the day you take over the franchise you've chosen is not realistic. Most if not all MLB teams who choose to go with a new General Manager and go in a different direction from the last G.M. usually hire the new G.M. as soon as the former season is concluded in October or November. Not In March right as Spring training is about to begin. I know it's just fantasy and not anywhere near reality, but this is one of my only gripes about this games since I am not very good player in Diamond Dynasty any longer.

I think one area that needs help is the use of sliders to make game play work to everyone's ability. The level you choose to play at is so messed up. Pitching is at least more so off to me. I can pitch on HOF and still dominate a team. And all the slider recipes that are out there can work for one person and not for another. I like to play out my season, almost game by game. But When the hitting and pitching sliders recipe I use isn't structured for my playing ability, it starts to make the playing to plain. I like to be challenged, also like to play to win, but want to enjoy the time I play. I gave up on trying to find the perfect recipe because to be honest the mode has become boring. It is so out of date with what it can do, I end up playing DD which to me is worse for an offline player. I want to get sucked into Franchise mode all year and even in the off season of real baseball. And yes, please, please, please bring back carry over. It is time for a huge revamp to Franchise mode and RTTS. Now a mode that combines both would be really cool. They would for sure get me to play it.

As someone who has played since the very beginning in 2006… I am so tired and so sick of this game truthfully. Don’t get me wrong, I do love it, but it has felt so stale since even since PS3 days. I ended up picking up professional baseball spirits 24/25 and that just absolutely blew me away. That is exactly how a game in 2024 should be. The show needs a new engine dramatically and they should be taking pointers from pro baseball spirits.
