Yeah he’s got 2 left. They would get a nice haul but he’s got 25 or 27M in salary too. And I think they want Major league ready or now players. Some might have salaries that would need to be eaten. So ur talking close to 35-40M a year for whoever is taking Castillo if they have to pay both sides of the trade

Mlb value charts underrate non billionaire spenders. Gil with his 30 innings pitched is about equal to a likely 10-12 WAR Tucker...Casas a .241 hitter is about equal to Tucker? Give me a break. That is the worse site to use for values. I bet the Yankees or Red Sox are part owners. Unbelievable. To them Tuckers value is barely one mediocre player or a guy with barely any mlb experience. Tucker is barely worth a mediocre Parrades...C'mon man... Using MLB trade values makes you look stupid.

Castillo, a dependable, mid to top of rotation starter is worth more than Bohm or and injury prone sub 3.0 war Casas. Shoot, Raley at first base last season was worth 3.2 war, a full point more than Casas best in 2022. M's can do better in this current market for starting pitchers.
