He has played second base as well as catcher. He's hitting .400 vs. lefties; 12 for 30. Too bad he wasn't playing 2nd base when lefties start this season. But they probably don't want to risk losing him as a backup catcher.

Welcome back with decent pitching, great Kershaw! I felt touched his beautiful wife rooted for him in tears. Six straight wins in the second half (of course excluding Ramirez day) was decorated by Shohei with 31st homers to clinch the victory. My dream (previous comment) is still spot on!

Great to see the Dodger’s new additions, Ahmed and Honeywell playing well. Must be sweet to homer against the team that just let him go. Going back to the last game against the Phillies on July 11th Lux is 13 for 32 which is a .406 average. Just please keep batting 5th against righties. If ain't broke don't fix it! Enrique is hitting well too. Hopefully Vesia and Heyward turn things around soon.

The Dodgers won the series against the weak fourth-place Giants. Seeing Logan Webb, who spoiled Ohtani's All-Star MVP, leave the mound miserably was satisfying, and Ohtani sealing the series with a bomb at the end was great.💥💣🦄

Brent Honeywell should be Dodgers new closer or be Dodger’s 7th and 8th inning pitcher, then give it to Evan Phillips to close the game. Coach Roberts has to stop using Ryan Yarbrough and Alex Vesia to pitch the later innings. These pitchers can’t hold the lead and end up giving runs to other team.

Great homestand to kick off the 2nd half for the Dodgers. Kershaw should've had that surgery years ago, but better late than never. Was on a strict pitch count, but his stuff looked good (curveball looked like the good one from his early days, too). Bottom of the Dodger order finally getting their act together and were the key to taking this 4-game series from the Giants. Congrats to Ahmed for sticking it to his former team with that eventual game-winning HR! Now go to Houston and show those As*tros Dodger Nation still hasn't forgotten 2017!!!
