As a Reds fan I’m just enjoying this while I can. The Castellini’s aren’t paying any of these guys what other big market teams are willing to pay. Hopefully, we can keep it going for a few years before they become too expensive and…back to the rebuild! But…I’m enjoying today!!

​@@danejurus69 that's not the issue. The issue is that reds ownership literally doesn't give a sht about anyone buying tickets, not buying tickets, it's all irrelevant. It takes money and commitment to build a team. It's a lot easier to just keep pimpin em out for a little sure money instead of the gamble of building (and paying for) something worth a sht.

That De La Cruz triple was absolutely outrageous. Every other player in this league has a stand-up double there, yet DLC has a pretty easy sliding triple. Ridiculous.

I think it speaks well of him. that's only a triple because he ran hard. there are others who could have done it, too, but they're often too busy admiring their hit. if he maintains that, then we - baseball fans in general, not just reds fans - get a gift.

as a life long yankees fan, i will say that my new favorite team is elly. seriously though, i’ve watched the last two reds-dodgers game and it was the first time i’ve watched the reds without them playing my yankees or rays. absolutely amazing young core of guy they have in cincy. if lodolo, greene and ashcraft can all unlock their full potential and pitch sub 3.50 era’s i can see this team going far in the next few years.

I came here just to say this. I'm a diehard Red Sox fan since 1976. I had no clue who Elly De LA Cruz was. I happened to catch his major league debut on tv. As soon as he stepped to the plate, I said out loud, "OH. MY. GOD!" Just the sight of him, he instantly became my favorite player. Then I saw him run. WOW! Now, to see that mammoth power. It's not just his obvious skills, he just exudes excitement. I know it's only two games, but I love this kid. There's just something about him. Also, in watching this Reds team give the Red Sox all kinds of problems in Boston, I really like this Cincinnati team. Got a bunch of good young talent. I'm gonna keep an eye on this team.

The Dodgers are not making the playoffs this year. Mainly due to their lazy plays on defense and Dave Roberts constantly platooning his players.The lack of basic fundamentals like closing to distant of a throw to first base. Lazy running to first base and conceding the base without putting pressure on the opposing teams. Why is Vesia still being used in close games? They lost at least 10 games so far due to these reasons. Dave Roberts needs to go. He's too laid back and almost invisible in the dugout.

The Dodgers have horrible pitchers. I've been saying this since the Dodgers selected Roberts as their coach. No small ball and miss management of the pitching staff. Losing leads too teams that are 500. Horrible
