@@marksreviews2.080I was at the game sitting row three in the splash zone when Adley hit the walk off homer against Toronto, truly a moment I will never forget. I'm from western Canada so it isn't exactly easy (or cheap) for me to go to games but that moment was the highlight of an amazing trip seeing seven games and already has me considering going back at the end of the season to hopefully see the O's clinch the AL East division again

That was a brutal AB for Gunnar. Pitcher throws 5 of 6 pitches nowhere close to the plate, but then gets a low pitch called a strike, then 2 pitches later a close strike call for strike 3. Typically when pitchers are wild, they don't get borderline calls like that.

Makes up for the Jack Cust ending years ago against the Yanks. Dude was caught in a pickle between 3rd and home, the Yankees catcher was out of position, leaving home plate unmanned, when Cust, the tying run, falls down on his way to home and is tagged out a few feet from home plate to end the game.

He hit a routine fly ball out to left field but Verdugo misjudged it and then fell down. How is it clutch? It was a total failure by the left fielder. McMullen made the 3rd out of the inning.

@@georgeford368739,000 + on a day like that, with that heat and humidity, isn’t bad. Yeah, it emptied out a little after Rice’s HR but that would happen in any stadium when the home team blows a lead and goes down by multiple runs in the 9th. I’ve seen plenty of games on TV where Yankee Stadium started to empty early when the home team is down late.

The most important aspect is that if the Orioles win two out of the final three games against the Yankees this year they will win the season series again against the Yankees this season as well, which will be important in deciding the AL East Champions for 2024

that loss was the epitome of the Yankees struggles this last 30 games...yeah they won the series,,, but they end the first half with thier WORST COLLAPSE loss of the half...and stuck in second place...

That was a fantastic 9th inning for sure . Orioles did so well on capitalizing on the yankees mistakes . Cleveland is pretty good at that too.

The error by Volpe was inexcusable since the Yankees win the game if he doesn't bobble it, but my goodness is Holmes tough to watch. He couldn't throw a strike to save his life today

@@surgeyibrahimovic5013 they had him playing shallow to keep the guy on 2nd from scoring on a single so he wasn't in the greatest spot to catch that ball. Wasn't entirely his fault, but he definitely didn't track the ball as well as he usually does

Why wasn't the pitch counted at 3:46? Should have been a 3:1 count after that, the umpire had no effect on the pitch location but they just took it away
