The great Wally Bell is used to playing old school baseball, now with all the rules he has to play it different. You can see it on his face he knew he had to do it, although he didn’t want to. A veteran like that has no other choice. The MLB rules are kind of stupid in that category.
@michaelleftwich8186 Жыл бұрын
It's funny how the umpires can put their hands on the players, but the players better not touch the umpires. Crazy rules this game has. Right?

In the first clip, why were the announcers so surprised that BOTH benches were warned? The umpires can't just warn one bench.
@chriscraven93355 жыл бұрын
Because there should have been NO warning

Chris Craven wrong , there had been history between the teams up to this point, they weren’t taking any chances

May favorite thing about this clip is how biased the announcers were (and that is with most teams). Then they started crying when Hurdle got ejected. I am just like "What did you expect to happen when you argue?" :D
@kurumauzamaki27315 жыл бұрын
Joe F the reason they were warned was because the pitcher was walking towards the batter
@cristianrafael41203 жыл бұрын

27:32 I think Jeff Kellogg got the call right first and then his crew overturned it. Also you can get ejected for an equipment violation.

Not liking how the umpires are allowed to grab and push the players but the players are not even allowed to brush up with them.
@jackjon77635 жыл бұрын
It depends on context. If they are trying to separate guys there is no problem with grabbing and pulling. Otherwise no contact is supposed to go on. However someone poking the chest of an umpire while yelling at him is going to be treated differently than a touch on the shoulder while trying to get closer to hear what an umpire is saying.

The ignorance of the announcers is quite apparent. An umpire can eject a player for throwing equipment. Announcers need to know the rules before opening their big mouths.

MLB Players need to quit complaining about the strike zone and go out and hit it. They need to learn how to hit...hit like Vladimir Guerrero did From the top of bill down to a one hop pitch in the dirt.
@richmatula9315 жыл бұрын
All the players are asking for is consistency. Every ump seams to have their own strike zone, which is fine but the calls very from hitter to hitter and even team to team

The broadcasters in the first one are hilarious....1) immediately determine there was no intent....2) criticize the ump for issuing warning (which is there to put an end to any nonsense....3) When Pirate manager is tossed, whine that the ump took away Pirate opportunity for retaliation.....why would they need to retaliate, if there was no intention....oh, and doesn't that mean issuing the warning did what it was supposed to do? Hilariously bad commentators.....
