What if the ramp isn't a uniform curve? ie: straight for a distance, then a loose curve, then straight for another distance, then a tighter curve?

When I select the component as part of the group (double clicking into the part), it still moves the whole object in Y, as opposed to just the line you've selected in 6:40, tilting that edge with the group. Struggling on this bit still. Will try this again..!

I'm still an intermediate user. I got lost from the moment you started rotating the first piece. How did u get to rotating 15degress and at what point do I determine where to rotate from to get the 15 degrees the way that you did and snapped the piece to place. What combinations did u use. Please help anybody

The default circle is cut in 15 degree incraments. Rotate from the midpoint, center of a circle. If you need something to snap to then draw a flat circle on the "ground" first. Draw a line across the circle to find midpoint. Select your section of ranp, select the rotate tool, click the center if the circle in order to rotate about the center.

Hi, mleearc, may i get some help from you on creating a sketchup curve ramp, but my ramp is slightly different from your ramp that you did on video, i m using your method but i cant make the ramp i want, so can i get some advise from you? can i have your email so i can send you the skp file for you to take a look and give some advice
