Splyce were so carried by Shotzzy, he was the only one making the difference and getting the kills when he needed; TOX didn't play as good as everybody expected against Splyce; Rng did their job right: honestly didn't expect more than top 4 from them; Trifecta big surprise, they always clutched it when they needed to; Rec big let down but that's what happens when you underestimate a team that's weaker on paper; EU teams played pretty bad, nothing to really notice about them except for some SLG plays; LATAM's Berserker had a really good tournament. MVP: Musa imo Overall it was quite entertaining and well hosted by MLG, the difference between MLG and ESL was more evident than ever. Good highlights video, this channel is always on point :)

Cracktale' Stuff definitely still some issues with mlg. peolple couldnt warm up or free play on stations that were empty because they had to be set up or something? bs reason. then theres a picture of eight mlg admins playing 8s on the stations theyre supposed to be "fixing". id still say better than ESL, but far from perfect

Splyce showed for the first time in years that teams can still throw practice online and be #1 on LAN. OpTic/Tox were different, and for so long they never lost a scrim. We're back in that MLG era, things have changed.

I just noticed, all of tox each had an overkill of their own. Snakebite on coli, royal 2 on truth, lethal on sanctuary, and as I type this out I think frosty actually didn’t get an overkill. He got really close to it on coli when he had snipe but maybe I’m forgetting. I thought he did but I may have misremembered. Either way, it’s still amazing how of the entire event, one team shared almost all the overkill’s.
