Sky piercer is an item made for heroes that can easily lower an enemies hp but struggle finishing the enemy off or for making sure your kills don't get "secured" by the tank. If a hero has enough damage to execute the enemy without hp based damage or has damage based on the missing health of the enemy, than sky piercer is outclassed by other damage items.

Item aside its broken but theres one item that can make the marksman give more survivability is the thunderbelt yes the thunderbelt passive half's for marksman but the thing is if you build it first on the game from early to late if you keep stacking thunderbelts passive you can pretty much live more longer because of the hybrid defense

You forgot to test if it can activate the passive while your hero is dead , example selena's trap , valir's passive while dead. Vex ulti while ves is dead . Diggie bombs while in egg mode .

I once tried the sky piercer on Valir and it was pretty broken since I can just Hit them with one combo and they'd keel over if they don't heal quick enough, and with the new scorch wand I can just leave them at about 20% hp amd the burn could kill them when they are no longer visible on the map and get confused why I got the kill.

Even though its a good item for burst heroes, I think a good rule of thumb before deciding to buy Sky Piercer is to see if you're dominating. If you secured kills in early and is snowballing, then definitely go sky piercer for 2nd/3rd item. Else go with something else.

i use sky piercer with Guinevere but only if i have a lane advantage. if i do have lane advantage at early game, mid game Guinevere does an amazing job bursting squishy heroes in the backlane. tho do watch out for late game where you become very vulnerable. and sky piercer with Xavier is a Beast XD

THEY SHOULD PUT A CD ON IT! Also, there should be a different cd for each enemy. Like if you already used it against enemy mm, it won't work against them again as long as the cd is still on but it will still work against other enemies. This, I think, will make it balanced. Like it will still be good for snowballing but you can't abuse it too much against squishy enemies (mm, mages, etc.)

I know it's just classic but damn, I used this as last item for Layla on 3 games and I'm lucky enough to have multiple squishy enemies which gave me instant maniacs/savages. Skill 1 > Skill 2 > Basic Attack (at most 2 only) and I already got enemies killed at late game. Gonna try it on ranked hmm XD

Hello sir. I do have a suggestion for the new item, Sky Piercer. I believe that it should be limited to assassins heroes, just like other items, because they can't fully use the full potential of the item if the hero role is not aligned. For example, when Gusion uses the Sky Piercer, he can utilize the full passive of it. But if Roger uses it, the passive of the item becomes 1% or 2% because he is not an assassin. I hope they revert the latest nerf on it that the passive became 4% instead of 6% and add my suggestion as a way to limit heroes who can use it. That's all. Thank you, sir. I hope my suggestion can be implemented.

Mid-late game valir is scary. Especially he's a DoT DPS. Enemies won't notice their hp slowly burn. And targeting a Valir is also hard (maintaining stacks should be no problem unless you know skill issues) plus he's a teamfight hero so other teammates can burst the enemy down for him. even if they survive somehow heh... the burn plus execute will surely end them. Again what's scary about skypiercer valir is that you really won't notice his damage until it's too late.

Odette's passive can trigger sky piercer's passive, so I use it. It's satisfying when enemies are defending their base turret and I just abuse Odette's passive to either hit a minion or their turret and hit them. 😂 But what's more satisfying is when an enemy is low on HP and Odette's passive followed. 😂

7:35 no the sky piercer didnt ignore the shield. the sky piercer activates only if u have low up, and it deals 9999 true damage, so basically the shield was destroyed by that 9999 damage. if you had a shield can grant you 9999 shield then that shield would absorb all the damage of sky piercer but shields cant reach 9999 points. so no, the shield wasnt ignored, it was just destroyed by the huge 9999 damage
