Amway was taken to Court in the UK in 2007 it was revealed that 99.7% of all Amway IBO'S had lost money.

This literally happend to me this week. Everything you mentioned in this video, the exact book, the same choice of words, the couples with private jets, mentorship, special opportunity, financial freedom, passive income and list goes on. I have been skeptical about it once I heared the recruiting part but wasn't fully closed to it, i didnt want to lose an opportunity since it started with mentorship I was being positive but something wasn't sitting right with me, I was doing my research and here i am 3 am watching this video, i am suppose to attendmy first "special" meeting this week . These people are really good the way they present this MLM/pyramid scheme. I have been approached by herbal life and other MLM schemes before, but i was able to Shut them down. Dude my buddy just tried to get me into this... it was so random. I feel bad for him that he’s already wrapped up in it. He said he had an offer for a job for me. He said he knows I like to be busy and I’m a good worker and he wanted to FaceTime with me and this guy. And sure enough this guy starts to tell me about the quadrant of employed Vs self employed Vs investor etc etc. I am not mad at my friend but I feel bad.

Ran into this the other day. 2 things ran through my mind, and they were “if something sounds too good to be true, it usually is.” and “if it’s that easy, why isn’t everyone doing this then?” I immediately pulled out when I had those thoughts, and I’m glad to hear it from you.

I agree with your first thought. Your second question I would push back on a bit. There are many things in life that some people will do that others won't do. Not everyone has the drive to do what some people are willing to do to succeed (and that's in anything).

These "selling a dream not a product" comments were exactly my thoughts as well. As a guitarist, it felt like if I were to sell a guitar to someone under the basis that they can be a full time musician. Is it true? Well yeah, but its incredibly rare. I'd rather sell a guitar to someone because it makes them happy and help them express themselves. Earning money would be a bonus.

Cheers to the guy I talked to for being a bit smarter and trying to use psychology tricks to make people believe him. Talked to me about confirmation biases during his pitch and how people will look for the things he says he does online and apply it to what he’s saying to talk themselves out of a great opportunity lol. I feel bad for people that don’t actually listen to what they’re saying and apply common sense to these outlandish and vague claims that they make.
