Yesterday was a really rough watch. Once a big bonus hits, the suspense has been released and it’s not really fun to watch the same machine any further. If you lose a bunch initially, it’s fun to cheer for the comeback, but it’s not fun to cheer for a higher water mark when a big one has already been hit. And it’s just super depressing to watch big money go back to the casino. I suggest that if you win a 20k or more bonus, you do a few back up spins but then quickly move to a blackjack or baccarat session with the house’s money or at least switch to a new machine.

@@CFMichael They don't record every day. Maybe three or four times per week, at most, depending on circumstances. They don't switch casinos every day. They stick with a few of them, based on their reward program, ability to record the gameplay, the ability to interview a shift manager once in a while, and probably a few more factors.They have limited time so they don't "hit and run", they stick with a few machines for each video. Unfortunately, this can prove quite costly when the bet is above their usual $50-60 per spin. Gathering an average of 45 minutes of content per video is expensive. Personally, I rather watch them switch machines once they have a big payout, 4-5 backspins is more than enough.

So doing the math on that game, ever $.09 is worth $60. It takes roughly 12 spins to get to a single dollar, so if you wanted to get it from $7,700 to $8,000 it would take 3,600 pushes of the button at $60. Costing around $216,000 to go $300 on the big progressive. Doing the math really brings to light the house advantage on these games.

Was so excited for you guys when you hit that huge bonus yesterday, I said to myself, they’ll surely change machines and drop down to a normal bet size and keep some sort of floor but you put it back in and ended up losing a bunch. Black Eye Peas… a tradition dating back to the Civil War for us in the South. Union troops would strip the countryside of all food & livestock, destroying anything they could not carry away. Black eye peas were the only food spared by General William T. Sherman and his Union troops. Black-eyed peas were used strictly for the feeding of cattle in the South back then. The troops left these “field peas” behind for the animals.
