I love how Jack plays mostly improv therefore proving to us that he has mastered the guitar, knowing all the little sounds it can make and how to get them. Huge kudos to Patrick too for being my favorite drummer and being awesome. Ha ha. ♥

Not just white. Dont get me wrong i love the man but this band is just friggin awesome. little jack and keeler just know how to set the pace for the entire song and benson is both an excelent singer and guitar player. Sometimes i just feel white gets all the credit but still its good to know the love for raconteurs is shared :p
@KidMLV3 жыл бұрын
Gotta agree… jack white may be my favourite modern artist, but benson is a beast that never skips a beat. And if you close your eyes and isolate the rhythm section you realize just how tight this unit is… Lawrence and keeler are no nonsense every gig they play…

The live versions of this band are better than the cd because they jam together so fluently. They can communicate through their music, and know when to play more or less. It's a beautiful song, right here.

@dictator54 you dont need to know jack white to know he has soul. he speaks through the guitar and lyrics. and the inflection in his voice. the movements when he thrashes and plucks his guitar. you just know. he wouldn't have written a song like this if he had no soul. the lyrics and display they have done using the music shows how obviously soulful he really is.
@mikelindsey489215 жыл бұрын
People talk about the Banaroo version of Blue Veins because Jack flips out at the end but this version is the best one.....Is this on a DVD somewhere because I cant find any live Raconteurs DVD's and I need t]his NOW!

Okay! I am no musician and every friend of mine who plays guitar pointed to me that JW is playing out of tune. But then this song sounds EPIC. What am I missing?
@mishagorelikow495310 жыл бұрын
sometimes it sounds cool to play out of tune because in a way it fits and that makes it sound cooler. Tell that to your friends
@shywhy10 жыл бұрын
Man, some people just can't appreciate JW. No point in explaining. :D
@HoffmansYouTube10 жыл бұрын
You aren't missing anything. I'm a guitarist. I think your friends are focusing too much on technical ability than feel. Jack is the man!
@johans.62409 жыл бұрын
Mehh, it's mostly because he is playing with a ton of fuzz/overdrive.
@shywhy9 жыл бұрын
That's what I told my friends too - Fuzz is making it sound off. Even when I was listening to the latest album of Queens of the Stone Age, few morons kept jumping up & down about how "technically" bad Josh Homme is/was! May God Help Such Narrow Music Lovers - Amen.

@brentonius12 Mayer is a pop star who memorized a bunch of SRV licks.He doesnt PLAY like a blues player, he just uses the same notes. If you dont understand what I mean by that, then you probably listen to music for different reasons than I do.I know he can play blues stuff, any guitar player can.His blues playing did not get him recognition, Your Body is a Wonderland did. He is famous for love songs so chicks will hang around for his self indulgent extended solos.
@jnotheman13 жыл бұрын

Yes, they do their part. But, it's all Jack. I mean, The Raconteurs was his project. Yes, he created the band with Brendan. But, The Raconteurs just wouldn't be The Raconteurs without Jack White. And in my opinion, all of Jack's projects, and everything else that he does is fucking perfect. The man is just fucking perfection.
