This series has made me feel sad for Luster Dawn. She felt so stressed and pressured into becoming the thing other ponies wanted her to be, instead of letting her find out on her own what she wants to be. She kept bottling her feelings up until finally she snapped. Then came somepony's else that in her moment of intense emotional turmoil offered her a spell with unknown effects as supposed solution. And things got worse from there. I hope this series doesn't end with Luster having to learn to accept the "destiny" that is forced on her by other ponies. Destiny, if it should exist at all, should be something that is a result of character's actions over her life.* Becoming an alicorn and the ruler should stem from Luster having a desire to help fellow creatures or to keep them safe. It would be wrong to push such a role on her despite her desires and without letting her make her own life choices. It would be pretty stupid too. A leader needs to know how to make her own decisions. A leader that has always followed the decisions made by others will fail at the first time she will have to rule on her own. Just to be clear: I'm not ranting on those points out of hate for this series. I love what you've done in it. I just wanted to share my thoughts on the plot. :) *I would give Sunny Starscout as an example. She had clear desires of her own and she made her own choices over the length of the movie. Her becoming (temporary) alicorn at the end was result of her actions and the kind of pony she grown up to be on her own volition. It wasn't solely because outside force chose her for this.

Boy oh boy, I get the feeling that things are going to get worse before they get better, and Luster is right in the thick of everything. Because of her insecurity and fears she's pushed everyone she loves away from her. From her parents, to her lover, everything. And rather than facing her fears as well as accepting responsibility, she continues to run away and thus create even more of a rift with her loved ones. It definitely gives her flaws and makes her realistic as we've all had those problems before, and facing our fears is never easy. The voice acting was SUPERB! Bravo all around! I especially enjoyed Starlight's VA at 13:46. You can really feel the confusion, the fear, the anxiousness, and the pain that she had to be going through. It's bad enough that you get into a fight with your own kid, but then they go missing for 48 hours? Of course she's going to go through the motions and blame herself for everything. I just hope Luster makes amends with her. I definitely see the similarities between the two, especially when it comes to them bottling up their anger. Also major props to Flurry's VA as well! "I WAS PLANNING TO PROPOSE TO YOU THAT NIGHT!!!" I felt that! The pain, the anguish! Excellent job! But poor FlurryHeart. She's going to become queen in a few days, and she has to go through all this drama? And the sad part is I'm pretty confident they both still love one another, but Luster in spite of her best intentions, she's only pushing FlurryHeart away from her further and further. And the sad part was, if she was just HONEST with Flurry I'm sure Flurry would've understood and tried to have helped, but that's the beauty of it all. I'm glad Discord (props to the VA there btw) was able to try and take her mind off everything. I think he saw how all of this coronation was starting to get to her and she needed a day to herself. And poor Twilight. It appears the spell Luster has undergone has had some serious effects towards her mentor. And like her student, instead of asking for help, she's trying to handle things by herself. She knows better than that! It appears she shares some similarities with her student as well. This was definitely worth the wait! Well done Scribbler and your team! You guys did an excellent job all around from the voice acting, the video editing, illustrations and everything else in between! Keep up the good work and see you in part 4!

This was the most emotionally intense and fantastic episode yet Scribbler i love it! Once again everyone who played a part in bringing this episode to life did an absolutely sensational and brilliant job make no mistake about it! Simply glorious work guys!!! I really hope things eventually worked out between Luster and Flurry, It's bad enough that Luster is an Alicorn and now she's pretty much lost one of her closest friends forever. So Luster Dawn has two big problems out of the other trials and tribulations that she's facing on this emotional rollercoaster of a series. And I am really hoping that Twilight doesn't die, Everypony needs her. Her family, her friends, The kingdom all of it. But i'm confident that Luster will eventually conquer all and fix everything in the end.

I suspect that Luster's spell is somehow draining Twilight of her Alicorn genetics or magic and making her sick, a Concequence of Luster's carelessness. It's also showing that Luster is so wrapped up in her own problems she's not even thinking about her mentor and once she realizes what's happening she'll need to stop thinking about herself and do something selfless to help the ponies she loves.

This was great! I started shedding tears when Flurries revealed she was going to propose to Luster the night they broke up. Also, Twilight getting this sick around the same time Luster became an alicorn is really sus.

Luster took twilight power and wings and their for this may kill twilight because luster is bent on not following the path that she is meant to have because rather be so.epony she is not and will pay thebprice for trying to write her own destiny and that maybe via ponies pushing her away as someone to them that is unimportant.

Hmm. So, Discord could tell something Chaotic was going on with Luster, but not what? Did he turn off his ability to sense magical imbalances or numb it to the point he needs to be in close proximity to even sense something off, but without immediate details? Because his word choice suggests he didn't sense a spell that linked Luster to Twilight in a way that's harming the latter, despite how easily he sensed Tirek back in season 4. And, due to having to pause the video several times, I noticed Flurry and Luster's eyes and, with Luster now being an Alicorn... do we have to worry about a dual Nightmare event? Of course, that's provided Luster is actually now an Alicorn and not just given wings, giving the *impression* she's become an Alicorn. Also, Kinyongo is definitely planning something horrible... and I've had an odd thought that's probably WAY wrong, but I'll say it anyway. Could Kinyongo be Opaline at her earliest? It's sounds crazy, but she clearly has it in for Twilight and using unique magic to cause the harm she is... I can't help suddenly seeing the similarities.

It's interesting how this story shares similarities with the character Venom. The difference is that instead of a symbiote, Luster Dawn gains wings. Plus, Flurry Heart said "Have a nice life." Coincidence I think not!

Luster fear of being shared she for not want to be will be why twilight may die, in a way luster dawn no lo ger gets compared to twilight as she will be disdained and possibly hated for being part of why twilight suffers and then dies. She pushes everyone away in turn she too gets pushed away and will bear the blame to why equestria declined by the end of 1000 years.

@@eidoneverchoosen1171 But when, near the end of the last episode, even though Kimono(?) was at first acting normal, making sure that Luster was certain of her decision; but when Luster was just about to back out after realizing the Spell was Black Magic, Kinomo(?)'s tone changed in a way that seemed off, and instead of making sure that backing out was Luster's certain choice, what she said seemed to subtlety go in the opposite direction: "Do you wish the Spell to work, or no? You said you wanted it, but if not you can go. No hard feelings and no judgements here, just go back, and alone you can face your fear, your doubt, your stress, your anxiety. To be honest, it is all the same to me."
