Wow, I don't think I've ever heard such passionate commentary from you. Well deserved too for such an amazing episode for Flutters. Not quite the best of the season, but it comes damn close! Also, at 13:14, you're not the only one. ^^

Our dear, sweet Fluttershy is showing even more confidence every time the spotlight shines on her. I really admire her guts and determination to follow her heart and reach her lifelong goal. This episode has helped motivate me to continue perusing my lifelong dream to becoming a professional animator for a big company someday(mainly Disney).😉

I'm sure fans are already up in arms about how it's not a talking Equestrian species, or even about that deer when we had a race of talking deer in the comics. 4. Which isn't always a bad thing, in certain cases 5. Pfft, right! Almost forgot about that 6. Heheh, that's our girl 7. I'd still like to know how he and Pinkie became pals. When I think of Pinks, I don't think 'construction', unless it was from that brief stint during her depression in Pinkie Pride. 8. For good, tho. For good. =P 9. True, true. She doesn't need me exploding at them, but I just couldn't help myself. I'm sure they're nice ponies, really, but the fact that they refused to listen to Flutters was bad enough, but then having the nerve to insult her vision just set me off. 10. Still proud of her for not buckling under and submissively agreeing with these changes against her plans. 11. I know, right? lol 12. I see what you did there. =P 13. Well, fancy that! =)

7. Other than as a small reference to Pinkie Pride, I can't figure out why Pinkie would know someone in the construction business either. I should ask one of the directors about that at EFNW.

Slight counterpoint for the moral here... Sometimes you really have to tweak your dreams for them to come true. And doggedly demanding "my way" will cause it to completely fall apart and die. Example in question being Hitler's WWII. (thankfully he did fail) He wouldn't let anyone tell him what he could or could not do and he ended up ruining everything for himself. So I guess what I'm saying here is, fulfill your dreams but don't forget to listen to advice and consider it. Great episode and message though!

I honestly consider this to be the weakest episode of the season so far. It's still good, just not as good as the rest of the season, including this week's Canadian episodes.

Perhaps it didn't do anything to be extravagant or over-the-top, but for Fluttershy fans especially, this was a great episode. It shows just how far she's come, how 6 prior seasons of character development have really shaped her into the mare she is today. =)
