The story of parents Celestia and Luna - queen Galaxia and king Cosmos.This video was based on my theory and theory of artists and what i know about these two alicorn, so it doesn' t have to be official. + They aren't canon characters.

story(by me):
When Galaxia and Cosmos met, they immediately fell in love. Their families hated each other, so they run away together. They flew and flew until they came across an empire, that was shrouded in shadow. Galaxia and Cosmos with their magic and love, they felt for each other, ignited light in this empire called Equestria. The inhabitants were suddently full of love, peace, happiness, joy and light instead of hatred, misery, pain and suffering. They accepted Galaxia and Cosmos as their rulers. And out of their love, two princesses were born: the older princess of sun and the younger princess of moon. Galaxia and Cosmos wanted to spread light and love throughout the universe. They knew that the universe needed them, so one day they left Equestria and handed over the rule day and night to their daughters - Celestia and Luna
