Fun fact, mushrooms grow on/around trees, especially if the trees are decaying! So it makes sense that mushrooms are growing from them. It looks like Rarity is the one that killed BonBon. And it looks as though it's "bone growth" in that wood starts to grow as their bones break apart, acting as a sort of splint in fusing their bones back together, but also stretching them out. I really like this one, the pony anatomy is accurate, it's a pretty straight forward explanation, and I haven't seen many with AJ as Patient 0, usually it's Fluttershy or Twilight. Sad about Spike, though. Poor little guy.

I honestly love how they utilized Timberwolves in this AU because I feel like it’s something the fandom overlooks, and I’m pretty sure they only appeared in like the very first episode/the pilot episode for my little pony.

They appear time to time, there is an episode where AJ saves spike from some and he tries to help her but she doesn't like having him help her out, so they make a fake timber wolf for spike to break, but then real ones appear those get shattered but turn into a giant Timber Wolf, which then spike defeats.

I dont understand why some creators always have applejack or pinky pie die in the stories all the time? Pinkie pie has her pinkie senses and applejack logically would probably survive since she’s the strongest out of all of them.
