I enjoy G5 but it is rough I blame David from WB and the Discovery merger cause they own G4 stuff so now Hasbro has to give them money just to use it in G4 so it caused a lot of issues with G5 writing and plans but I do also think G5 was meant to kill off bronies in the neagtive way too

My thoughts exactly. And if I'm correct, apparently the people behind the g5 movie just left the rest of the pony lore up to the show so that could be a reason why a lot of it wasn't consistent with the movie. IMO, I feel like the people.behind the movie could've really saved the show if they had contributed to it

5:12 as a Sunny biggest defender I gotta disagree really only cause she getting use to this arc and the context of what last chapter and this chapter did so now she is slowly found that she the representation of hope in a friendship but also herself too. However it was rushed which is more on Hasbro axing the series

Yeah I had a suspension that Hasbro made her whole arc rush out. I just wish we spent more time with Sunny and this arc of hers to really sell it to me that she is the representation of hope they aim to accomplish

Watching this entire series with a writer's perspective was very frustrating; I had to take breaks in between episodes at that point. Chapter 6 was definitely the part of MYM that made me want to CHOKE IZZY. Ahaha... but yeah, seeing not-Spike was not the "worst" thing to see probably because Opaline was much worse since day one. This show not only ruins the foundation of G4, but how the movie is completely irrelevant now. There's literally no point to watch it now because a lot of things change. If MYM doesn't come back, good riddance. I'm not going through the pain (I'm being very dramatic, I know.)

@@thewingedunicorn5065 I'll also say this as a casual brony: I was never a fan of G5 from the start. I only ever watched that "New Generation" movie and I thought it was kinda underwhelming, especially after how much I liked the G4 movie :/
