It is so moving and dignifiying, taking the consequence of imortality in a new light, with Twilight's friend's insistance of letting them behind, and with her acceptance, she dissipates the memories (in form of photos) that made her dwell so much, taking her friend's advice to move on, the scenery completely changes tone once she moves the Sun into position, sgnifiying "a new dawn", in a more metaphoric sense, in the end felling comforted by her friend's memories, and not down by their loss. Means the classic "don't cry because it's over, smile because it lasted". (Obs. Sorry for any typos, not my first language)

⁠@@trifstev8975well, no. What about Sandy Shores or something? In the books, she goes to her friend who teaches this place on a beach or something. They’re good friends who go way back, read the books too. I know some people don’t consider it canon, but I personally do since some do genuinely make sense. I would also recommend the comics, they explain a ton. A lot better than the series, and I would consider it real. Celestia does have many friends, and she had her sister Luna too. I don’t think alicorns are “immortal,” I think they just live for a really long time. I don’t imagine them growing old and dying without twilight, but them together. Hopefully twilight cast a spell on them to live forever or something, I’m not really sure.

Honestly, thank you so much for making this video. You have no idea how much it impacted me and has helped me. Everyone believes that moving on is forgetting your favorite memories and grow out of them. When you actually grow around them.. you don’t have to forget in order to move on.. Only hug the past but grow around it, not out of it. Heartbreaking animation. I wish it didn’t end like this, I wish twilight actually ruled with her friends in the show.
