These are very clever. I can see the reasoning behind most of these design choices. I particularly love Dashies' cutie mark, it's so creative. Whilst I also understand why the canon main six look the way they do, their designs haven't always sat well with me either. This is a great artistic exercise, I might give it a go too!

This is a really cool reimagine of them! I kind of like how Pinkie was made into a pegasus and Fluttershy an earth-pony. I can see why Fluttershy would be an earth-pony, too. She kind of acts like one, honestly. Also, I really like Rarity's hair and ears, Twilight's glasses and bun, Rainbow's cutie mark and colorful wings, and Applejack's color scheme and braids.

I love these designs, and i think just completely recreating the characters with similar personality tropes is a great idea, but you used the same yellow-orange color in almost all the designs, and I think if it weren’t for that, I’d love these!

Yeah, they did, but that kind of ties the characters together in a crowd- in a story setting, having a color choice or accessory be consistent with a lot of the characters let’s you tell that they’re connected somehow, like with fluttershys fur color and muddiness connecting with allot of the other characters and the rainbow bandages tying her to rainbow dash.

imo this is much more fitting than the show designs. i understand they went for a very soft pastel palette but the sillouttes in your designs tell more about the characters! the colors mesh well together all while being seperate designs. and the cutie marks are spot on! i like this version because it focuses on the personality of the characters not the sellability of a toy version.

I love almost all of these apart from the fact the first 3 share wayyy too much yellow and green, makes the rest of them feel disconnected and twilight is wayyyy too plain compared to the others, other than those things i love these designs!

I LOOOOOOOOOOOVE these new designs! really cute!!! only thing i would do a bit differently is applejacks and fluttershys colour choice. Absolutely no hate at all! just the colours seem so drained and dirty, The colours suit fluttershy a lot but not so much with applejack... idk XDDD

Kitten` Cloudy yah same I like this version of rarity but the part with the ears together is just meh for me and I feel like pinkie pie well doesn't scream pinkie pie i would make her coat more of a pastel pink or a blush pink but keep the white specks and give fluttershy her wings back and make her hair a lighy purple

I think what really makes these designs work is how well they fit the canon voices of the characters. As they say, cartoon characters ARE their voices, and it says a lot that I could totally see each character's established voice coming out of each redesigned pony respectively. Great work 💖

The way you used darker and kind of organic colours, combined with your amazing art style is what makes me love this so much. Plus the poses that say so much more about the characters personalities than official art shown in adds (for toys or whatever).

Honestly I like both versions of the designs. I think the actual design has just been with me so long it's grown on me, but this is new and fresh and interesting. I love how the designs and colors relate to the personalities of the ponies. It's so cool! I think the one thing about this that bothers me is probably the color of Fluttershy's hair, but I'm just biased against the combination between her hair and (fur?) Color, so. But in general, it's friggin' amazing!!

I really love the Rainbow Dash design! The blue on her pelt looks much better than the original, and the tips of her wings are a much better place for the rainbow. Though the rest of the designs was honestly kind of meh... they just don't really seem like themselves, though I really like the idea of Flutters having hair covering her eyes. And the Pinkie design is also really cool, but personally I would give her a different hairstyle. But the cutie marks are honestly soooo much better. They just express the characters' talents more. I overall enjoyed the video! That's one cute art style you got there, I must say ;0
