I'm not even all that annoyed that Omniman won the fight, I'd just prefer that if they were going to make Bardock lose, then don't bother giving him Super Saiyan, and just have it be a omniman vs oozaru bardock, have him end the fight by breaking the moon or something, ending the transformation and leaving him open for the kill, don't go giving him a form that is so clearly stronger and then losing in that

No they didn’t- they did the best with what they could find, and was literally generous enough to give Bardock a Super Saiyan form that he would have had the potential of obtaining. So in reality it should have just been base Bardock vs Omniman so he would have lost anyways.
