Not saying its cool, but the backstory to them is that they played together at syracuse and at Vaughan Azzurri in Canada, and were really close. There was definitely no animosity to the throw other than frusteration that your football brother just sent your team packing

Timbers fan here, I have to say it but McGraw has been awful the last few games. His clearances and aerial headers are not even good. His level looks more like USL caliber than MLS which doesn’t make me feel good about the rest of the season. Either he improves or you have to look into improving that position in the summer or following season. His match ratings speaks for himself.

Full credit to Portland for staying in the match with two excellent goals. The Caps finishing inside the box is just not up to par. We were lucky to hang on and get the win. Especially giving up the worst lead in sports, a 2 zip lead. Onto face LA Galaxy.

@andrew-wiebe At 6:33, intentionally throwing a ball at an opponent, the ball is an "extension of the arm" which means this is deliberately striking the opponent. Shouldn't this have been a red card? Its possible my rulebook terminology is outdated, been a while since I've reffed.

At 3:00 the fan who caught the ball appears to want to keep the ball like it was a baseball or hockey puck. I suppose security will confront the fan to return the ball. I wonder what the consequences are if the fan resisted returning the ball.
