Exactly, Sativa's generally give you a more uppity high... goin for a run, making videos, writing music, thinking, etc. Indica is more for relaxing, watching movies, reading a book...

Forget what a fighter got caught doing, look at it like this was Diaz's second offence for the same thing with NSAC and Overeem it was his first offence, plus Overeem's case is different cause he didn't get to fight, he wasn't licensed yet.

Alcohol is not a banned substance by NSAC. Marijuana is. The DUI issue has no bearing on MMA stuff. Just like Diaz can smoke weed when he's not fighting. NSAC has a set of rules (ridiculous though they are) and Diaz broke them. Jones hasn't broken any of NSAC's rules. No one is saying smoking weed is worse than DUI.

It's not the bud, it's the person reaction to pot. I smoked for 20 years and so did just about everyone I know, all different strains etc....We can all smoke the same stuff and some were tired, relaxed, chilled out while others couldn't sit still and wanted to do something. I guess it depends on other factors as well though, like how it was grown (chemicals) and how much you smoked at one sitting.

totally agree with you. but a little off the subject. u do know anybody can pretty much get a card for that dont you. so its kind of a joke, but it really does help alot of people with debilitating illnesses, so its def. more good than bad cuz even for recreational use it cant kill u so.

For the record, I'm pro cannabis and think it should be legal in society. However there are definite advantages to using cannabis while you're training or fighting. I think it should be legal for training, but not while fighting, that SHOULDN'T be allowed. Which bring me to Nick Diaz who didn't have actual pot in his system during the fight, but he had metabolites, which would suggest he stopped smoking a few weeks out from the fight. Diaz definitely got made example of and it's NOT right.

I don't smoke that often, but when I do weed makes me lazy as fuck, the last thing I wanna do is train or lift after I smoke. If weed makes you a better athlete than so does fast food, not getting enough sleep and playing video games

Well I personally don't think any drug should be illegal including steroids. However, if you want to take a stand, be smart about it. You're not going to win against the government as a pro athlete....This is your living, such a small window to be great in a sport. It's not difficult to pee clean and Nick has had years to present this issue. You say Unjust laws were meant to be broken? Every law is meant to be broken.

Yes it's ridiculous cause it's a pot issue. But people have to forget about that and think clearly on the situation. Fact is Nick Diaz knows it's illegal under NSAC and was dumb enough not to learn from the first time he was suspended. I believe the first time was 6 months so that's why he gets a year second time. Although a 60k fine I thought was extreme. It's very simple cut out the weed 20-30 days before a fight.

wrong dude i smoke before i do all kinds of activities, i smoke before i run, lift, hike,skate, mountain bike or jus about anything and also it depends on the kind of bud, indica makes u lazy and relaxed and sleepy, while sativa gives u that hyper adreneline high..so i like to smoke sativa obviously and also if u have ur med card like diaz does u can go to the dispensary and pick out the kind u want, so im guessing he always buys a high quality sativa
