Yes, there are people in the world that hate fighters for those reasons, but a lot of these people (primarily fans of Muslim fighters) pull out the Islamophobia card when it’s just for like the same reasons we are currently bashing Colby for. Hope this clarifies things. Not trying to defend Colby at all haha.

this just isn't true, people were choked at the Omalley vs. Yan matchup, claiming Dana White privilege the same way they are here. People hated Sean Omalley until recently and constantly called out his lack of good competetion. JDM at least won a fight from a ranked opponent to get his # before the burns fight, who btw was also coming off of a loss. Dustin Poirier coming off a brutal ko loss and BSD also had wins over ranked opponents. This is what I meant by Joey left out context. Umar doesnt have a win over anyone in the top 15 and is somehow ranked 10 getting a no. 2 Cory Sandhagen whos on a 3 fight win streak. For the record I'm not complaining about the matchup either but someone could reasonably do so and not be "xenophobic"
