The reason I started following the UFC is that I randomly stumbled across the MMA hour a couple of years ago. Ever since I've been captivated but only because of guys like you and Luke Thomas who have made the sport accessible to news like myself. The UFC doesn't understand that you're essentially an advertising arm for them (I signed up to fight pass because Luke mentioned it on a show). Without people like you the entire show becomes slightly less interesting. Hearing news and rumours and insight from people with real knowledge who are independent is what makes the sport so exciting. I think the UFC will change its mind but if not then carry on, your fanbase will still be around and you'll continue to inspire new fans over the years. Hang in there.

This is one of the moments where I'm like; I cannot leave this video without writing something. That usually happens when you really care about what you're seeing. This is the case. Ariel, you did it. You are the best at what you do. There isn't any other journalist out there who is closer to us, fans. Ask any MMA fan about their favorite journalist and most part of them will say your name, and this taking into account that there are some awesome professionals in the sport such as the beard man, the hat man, or the shirt man just to name a few. Not only you're the closest journalist to us, but also to fighters, and that's why you get the interviews you get. So the UFC spend all of Saturday recognising Muhammad Ali for standing by his convictions and then go ban a journalist for life....smart move there UFC! Ariel comes across as a man of integrity and all round good person. He doesn't deserve that sort of treatment, to be told his career is over. He is as responsible as most for promoting the UFC over the years and making it as mainstream as it is today. The MMA Hour and The Beat are about the only two MMA shows I watch weekly and that is mainly down to Ariel. Hopefully everything can be sorted out once Dana's roid rage wears off.
