I knew MMA fans wouldn’t like this segment or interview to do a wrestling angle. C’mon now. It’s pro wrestling. You have to sell a match. What do you think Conor McGregor does? He makes the big bucks just because he can put butts in seats and people talking. Where do you think he got that from? The Vince McMahon walk he does in the octagon? WWE. At the end of the day its straight up cringe, I always hear pro wrestling fans yapping about story lines, and promoting, like they have a claim to be covered by sports journalists, this is pantomime sports, its not a real sport, it's sports entertainment. The fact it's being covered on an MMA show is the killer, pro wrestling fans always so entitled re promo shooting. The rest of the world with half a brain does not wanna see this cringe display.

@@jaydenbuitenga1851 - Too late...the bus has already left the station. Even before the WWE/UFC merger, MMA guys like Connor McGregor have already become entertainers in their public appearances(puts asses in seats). @anthonyanderson93039 ай бұрын
@@CARTOONIVERSE1 The ironic part is guys like Connor McGregor and Chael Sonnen, two of the greatest as far promoting a fight were both clearly inspired by pro wrestling and the theatrics. Dana White himself was inspired by Vince McMahon in so many ways. Hell you can go all the way back to Muhammad Ali who was inspired by Gorgeous George, a wrestler from the 50's. UFC was inspired by pro wrestling a long time ago, which is partly what separated it from other MMA promotions. If anything it took away alot of the old school wrestling audience tha was tired of the direction wrestling started going in 15-20 years ago and that coincided with the rise in popularity of UFC.
