Shevchenko is one of the biggest ego heads in the sport. She is incredible and one of the best ever, but the fans really gassed her up to be this unbeatable monster. All the excuses after the fight and now on fight week show how bitter she is about losing and can't admit that she was bested on the night. I believe Grasso will do it again.

​@@Maddog969 she wasn't that in control though, Grasso was outboxing her and making her panic wrestle, spinning outta control and that's what led to her loss. She wasn't as composed as we've seen her in past fights. The sport is catching up to her, it catches up to everyone. We saw that in the Santos fight as well but she was able to eek out a win.

she wasnt fully incontrol lol. Grasso won the first round, Bullet won rd 2, rd 3 but then in rd 4 Grasso was looking sharp before she found that finish, Bullet was looking tired and her takedowns attempts were getting more desperate. I would have been 2-2 going into last round. If Grasso can defend the takedowns this time, She can win again@@Maddog969

People underestimate Grasso. Everybody knows when you get the championship, you have a 66 2/3% chance at winning the next fight. So Shevchenko can take her 33 1/3 chance, minus her 25% chance and she's got an 8 1/3% chance of winning at UFC Fight NIght. But then you take Grasso's 75% chance of winning the last fight, and then add 66 2/3% for this fight, and Grasso's got 141 2/3% chance of winning at UFC Fight Night. Because Shevchenko knows she can't beat her and she's not even gonna try!

I used to like Grasso but the fact she won after a clear Bullet mistake first fight.. then got a draw because the judge scored the 5th for her 10-8.. a round where Valentina clearly wobbled her in the first part of the round, and controlled 3.5 min. of the round. and Grasso got her back and didn't do anything.... and is like.. "There are no accidents"... not a good look for Grasso's rise.

2:58 It is fair for Valentina to say she made an error. It is absolutely possible to make errors. Alexa states that Valentina claimed it was a "mistake that she lost", but the reporter clearly quotes Valentina referring to her spinning kick as an "error". It was definitely an error to attempt a turning back kick in that moment. The fighters were within a very close range of one another before the kick was even thrown. There was no chance of landing that kick, it was an error that exposed her back & Alexa did not let this opportunity pass her by. Alexa absolutely made the correct move in response to Valentinas error, Valentinas 'mistake' did absolutely lead to her failure. Not that Alexas victory was a mistake, that her mistake lead to her own loss. That is an undeniable fact. If Valentina had said otherwise & suggested that Alexa could never do that again, or that Alexa could never beat her otherwise, then she would not be telling the truth.

Bottom line, Valentina is known for throwing that spinning back kick. Alexa drilled for that kick. Once it came, she jumped on Val. No luck, it is skill & game planning.
