Paddy is the last person to start going off about Ariel. Ariel has shown Paddy nothing but respect for years before he even entered the UFC. When he first came 4/5 years ago, when he wasn’t really known, Ariel was very kind to him and wanted to talk to him, regardless of his stature and was very clear in his admiration for him. To backstab the man who has treated you with dignity and respect and even took a chance by wanting you on the show when no-one knew who you were is outrageous. Paddy needs to be taken down a few notches and realise just because your boss is in front of you, it doesn’t mean you start chatting utter crap and spewing nasty crap at someone who has done nothing bad to you.

I do think he should put his foot down, though. I get that it’s a dream to work with these huge sports outlets to cover the sport, but he doesn’t need to associate himself with ANY of these big corps. He’s earned enough of a following and respect from fans over the years, so much so that he could and SHOULD become independent. Get out of these contracts that bar you from covering the sport with honesty, he’d be much more successful financially and I don’t think ANYONE should have a problem with it. Being covered and interviewed by Ariel should be a privilege, not something that fighters complain about because “erghh you make mOnEy off iNtErVieWs!!”. He SHOULD be making money, and plenty of it.

It's hilariously bad for Paddy the Saddy complaining journalists make a living from reporting (well duh.....) on MMA fighters to Dana BloodMoney White who has made a very lucrative life of MMA fighters. Even Paddy was underpaid by the guy he's saying this too. Even though Paddy can be a bit of a tool, I kind of liked some of what he does and has to say but now I'm all out. I think a lot of others will be too going from the comments about this. It's his own fault so I don't feel bad for the guy. Imagine having that conversation with bloodmoney White hahahaha, sucking up major to his boss that makes a lot more money than Paddy with every fight he has that takes minutes off from his life.
