Great point Greenstreet...I was just thinking Khabib and Conor are like two sides of the same coin. One is spiritually grounded, the other driven by his ego and narcissism. This will make for an interesting confrontation in the Octagon. The two will likely both be surprised at the outcome as will we the fans. I liked Conor in the beginning, when he was more humble...he has forgotten what is was like to be a plumber. I think the fame and fortune have corrupted what was once a good and simple man. I think that is what keeps Khabib grounded.

Like I thought, he purposedly standing up for the 3rd and 4th round. He already convinced that he could end it at will. First I thought he did it because he underestimated Al's ability. But then he said he wants to experience 5th round to prepare for the next fight which he believe will be him defending the belt. So many people underestimate Khabib's performance that night, saying him underperforming or as far as calling him amateurish.But like it or not, with all due respect to Al, while the Raging can definitely improve, Khabib showed him that they are on far different level that night. You gotta back your guy fair enough but be careful what you wish for, Every round starts on the feet and based on Khabibs stand up and defence he will be a heavy bag for Conor, Conor is also more durable and has a much better clinch and ground game than he gets credit for because of his disastrous performance against Nate in their first bout but it's not really reflective of his real ability. It was the same in the first Nate fight and the Floyd fight, he only really ever loses because of Fatigue never because he just gets caught or anything, if he can fix that he will truly be a force to be reckoned with.
