@@ChiefsWin316 That's the thing though. Winning the first round against a striker means little to nothing. Alex generally takes a bit of time to get that timing and range. If you watch the first fight and his sparring you can see that not only can Alex roll with punches, but he is very good at instantly firing back. That's how he caught Jiri in the first fight. His defense isn't that he blocks shots, it's that he rolls with them. Jiri just clean eats punches, but Alex's power is on another level.

People have blown up the ‘early stoppage’ narrative from Alex / Jiri 1 into a revisionist history that Jiri was whooping Alex and he’ll correct his mistake and finish the job in 2. Jiri is an attribute/surprise fight. He’s basically a higher stat version of Johnny Walker. It got him caught last time and it will continue to get him caught more and more often.
