It’s not good business. She’s on the hook for those 6 fights where she’s likely to be used as a gatekeeper for younger fighters. If she manages to turn things around and get back into the top of the division or win a title, she’ll be locked into a contract that she signed at a low point in her career. Fighters shouldn’t sign more than a four fight deal if that can avoid it. Edit: and by “on the hook” that means she can’t go have a boxing match or something to get some easier money… UFC property.
