Remember, shavkat prepared for belal and not garry. Garrys main aim was to not get taken down. No offence from garry, shavkat wanted to win and more active. I think shavkat will welcome scrambling with belal. Shavkats offence will out point belal. The size advantage between the two was clear..when they sqaured off after the fight.

Ian Gary never made any adjustments. Never tried to get any meaningful offense. Never tried to gain any momentum. He was losing every round, but never had any sense of urgency. Wtf was the Gameplan? Just fookin stand there do nuttin? He wasn't tryna win, he was just trying not to lose.

Both fighters did the same. Both didnt throw much, both wanted to clinch most of the time

@@almontaseralazri3107 Shavkat was initiating the clinch and tryna tire out Gary, eventually making the adjustment and going for a double leg. Their gameplan was try to take Ian down. But Gary absolutely did nothing but stand there. He barely threw any combinations the entire 25 minutes.

Garry deserves more credit. Shavkat fought very smart and people were questioning his IQ. Unfortunately, when Garry fights smart he nullifies his opponents' attacks but also can't mount much of his own so it becomes a bit of a stalemate

@@Fen3rbahce Shavkat looked horrible man. Belal's grappling has improved in spades since he's been training with the Dagastan boys. I see Belal overwhelming Shavkat. Shavkat almost lost by rear naked choke to Ian Garry. Enough said. I was rooting for Shavkat too. What a disappointment.

@@thelastbreed91 Ian style was defensive, Belal will be coming forward too much and he will be willing to engage more, that is where finish will come. Belal is small too not 6'3 Iike Ian Garry. People looking at those close moment Shavkat and think wow he is beatable, no man in UFC roaster would survive at that point and that shows the heart of Shavkat. He put himself there in first place, where he was desperate to get out of there and get a finish a finish thereby leaving his kneck exposed. I remember Belal last fight Leon almost finish him 5th round and had him in terrible positions several times.

@@vinnbalor Physical advantages on Shafkata's side. On higher ground, longer arms. Garry had sparring with Shafkat, so he knew about Shafkat's arsenal and prepared well. Plus, they are the same in physical parameters with Garry. Belal doesn't know Shafkat's arsenal... Shavkat knocks out Belal like he knocked out Jeff Neel. Belal is boxing at a low level... doesn't duck under the blows in time.
