Then after his corner left, he remained on his stool by Big John's command. Big John McCarthy is the person in charge, he is the one calling to clean Romero's face...those 28 seconds were given by McCarthy and whoever put that extra baseline. Simply not true. Romero got extra seconds to rest on a stool. During those seconds. Tim Kennedy wasn´t taking that type of rest, he was walking around, protesting with his hands in the air. Not 2 similar resting situations. Also IF the 2 fighters has excactly the same amount of gas left in the tank, equal resting times will benefit both and as I explaining they didnt have equal resting times. BUT if one fighter has less gas in his tank , the resting will benefit him more. If Kennedy was fitter than Romero, obviously extra resting time will benefit Romero more.

I am on the fence about this because no doubt, I do admit that it was a dirty trick because if your a fighter or an athlete of any kind you know that an extra 30 seconds feels like a vacation. Tim Kennedy was extremely frustrated and angry which led to him getting caught in a off balance position, Yoel hit him up against the cage and the rest brings us to this decision we are debating now. Arguably you can also say that Tim had those same 30 seconds as well and could have that time to gain his composure and wait for another one of those big shots he hit Yoel with before to try to put him back on his ass. As divided as I am someone has to win and someone has to lose that's what fighting is. The means that some fighters are willing go to that produce a common ending show how much they want their win and just as easy as they win, under different circumstances they just as easily could have lost.
