i still remember that incident in 12. we were up in ny to celebrate my mom's mom's 90th birthday. so it's saturday and dad had something to go do to meet up with someone to get something. i tagged along. we went and listened to the race on both ways. on the way back we're listening and get in just in time to see this chaos on replay. radio didn't do it justice. i'm like who had a brain fart this time? i found out later james started that lap last car on lead lap. well i guess it proved what nascar says about daytona and talledega, "if you're in it you can win it" i think that's taking a left turn into the twilight zone on the way but...............and i saw this replay about 15 times before i notice he nearly got wrecked by the 22 trying to save it after he was nearly spun out. (no i'm not saying it was intentional the 30 probably actually kept him from wrecking to.) and people wonder whhy i have my "picks sure to go wrong every year." well this is one year i should have picked buescher apparently............funny thing is he wins this, wins a truck championship around same time, and he's out of sport in like 3 years. he drove some xfinity for james finch in 08, but its like how? i mean cope got 30 years of sponsors, rides, phone calls because "he's a daytona 500 winner" and i get that's the 500 not the support race, but still.................. like 3 years later it's who's james buescher

6:35 that specific incident is probably not his fault. That pace car really shouldn't have gone that early, and the car in front of him just slammed the brakes

Idk man, i wouldn't put the wallace and bayne incident on Steven, pace car driver caught them both by surprise. I also wouldn't put the chastain one on here either, that was sheer brilliance in my opinion, he had nothing to lose he was so far back already. Also can't blame Busch for hitting the pace car, i would've straight up wrecked it if I were in his shoes.

I was there for the first clip of Kyle Busch wrecking at Darlington and I managed to get pictures of Kyle Busch almost hitting one of the safety workers and me and my father and friends were laughing uncontrollably in the stands 😂. Probably the best moment I've seen a driver get mad without throwing hands at another driver in person.
