y n I only said that with the best intentions, though I understand if you’re upset that I seem nitpicky or something. Everyone has room for improvement and I still adore this mmd!! I’m an aspiring animator myself (though 2d) so I promise my criticism does not come from a place of ignorance!! :)

The shakey movements can definitely be explained by mocap because it captures every unnecessary part of the human’s movement and is overall stiffer, instead of getting straight to the key frame (and a little overshoot in the motion is great technique as well). This isn’t really appealing for an anime model, it’s essentially the same thing as animating an anime character on-model the whole time. Which is definitely not a thing anyone should do. The more I think about it, I’d love to see someone make their own distorted models (like for multiples and smear frames) for certain frames in an mmd mv it would be so dynamic, i’d probably be mesmerized. the models would probably be really fun out of context too... please tell me if you guys know of anything like this, but to be honest, if theyre that advanced, they’d probably move to blender or maya or something

A big part of dancing- especially as the core performer- are the facial expressions! I believe towards the end of the song when she sings quietly, she could have had a melancholic facial expression rather than a blank one to match her performance. Facial expressions don't matter too much when the camera is far away, but when it's close the details are important! Other than that, very good work!
