this was fun to make kind of.
i sort of rushed it and there's a few mistakes i dont know how to fix... ha ha
but it's okay.

There are MMD animations, and then there’s wizardry. This is somewhere between the two, but I’m not sure which one it’s closer to. But seriously, there are so many little things in this, ranging from certain expressions to frame edits and transitions that I either had no idea you could do in MMD, or are just really nice editing work that makes it even more fun to look at. More so, it’s cool to see how you’ve kinda evolved in your animations. They were always really nice and smooth, but now there things you only catch the second or third time around, and it’s just awesome to look at. Plus I’ve come to be pretty fond of the characters. Their interactions and stories in the videos adds a fun little bonus element to everything. Plus the mood colored hair is awesome. I actually find myself excitedly anticipating the change because there’s something oddly satisfying about the visual transition.

Heyo! Been 6 months hasn't it?! You've made some extremely good progress. Watched this over 7 times now, I don't really have much to say. Granted, this probably isn't nearly as "figurative" as the last time I thought to give my two cents. Your camera angles, timing and whatnot have all improved significantly these past months, hope Covid-19 has been at least been treating you well. 0:07 - 0:09 "You think I'm helpless" Might be worth nothing that the wording could be smoother if you tried to sink hel-p-less with the movement when the guy seems to be mimicking someone helpless, since that sequence has about 2-3 parts, going up, opening up and then finally closing up his arms. So Hel-p-less could have been synced there. Is it important? Eh not really. Either works fine really. Small bicker, small recommendation. 0:15 - 0:19 Honestly really shows just how much you've improved thus far in animating bodies. Big change and a clear sense of progression. The only bit here that bothers me is how the girl seems to be in some kind of default A-Pose throughout the entire sequence. A touch of small reactions or just a pose that doesn't seem like a default T/A-pose. 0:31 - 0:34 I'm not sure if it's your intention to do this but her legs are pretty wide for a normal pose. Top seems distressed/saddened, bottom is wide and confident. Although the pose at 0:35 seems a lot more natural, unsure if perhaps the fault lies in the camera angle at that point, but point stands that that pose probably wasn't the most flattering at front view. 0:39 - 0:43 Honestly a big fan of that. The little movement of "What don't you get??" kind of vibe fitting with the lyrics, very smooth, very satisfying. While I do enjoy it, I'm questioning whether or not that sudden change of camera angle from middle to top was a good move. Can't find much sense to it, but it doesn't really have to to begin with. Just put that out there for you to think on I suppose. Regardless, it was cool and you definitely couldn't have pulled this off thus far 5-6 months ago. 0:54 - 0:56 I think that sequence was a little too fast. I had to rewatch it 2-3 times to understand what the girl with bun hair was trying to do. Part 1: Anger and wants to bother her nap. -> Part 2: Interrupts her nap -> Part 3: Surprise/shock of her waking up and wanting to hide -> Part 4: Hides -> Part 5: Girl who was interrupted is confused of what just happened. While this is all fine, it's all done in a fast n short sequence and aren't segregated probably to "feel" these parts individually. 1 and 2 is good, 3 isn't very clear and 4 takes a moment to catch up and ends with 5 where we get it. Nothing anything inherently bad with any of this, just it could've been smoother. 0:58 Smart guy... I should do that some time. 0:59 - 1:03 It's more preference than anything I'd say in this bit. Whether or not they were good by REALISTIC standards raises the question. To me, I think the way they moved were awkward. They're exaggerated and that's the point, but perhaps you might get a better understanding if you tried to do the sets of movement they did in a way your body would do naturally. Should you always go for realistic movement? Eh, debatable, I'd say no. However, it's good to strive to a point where you can pull off some stuff where it feels like there's weight to it. Overall, big improvement. Better lip syncing, better body movement, etc. You've learned a lot of new things to add great "flavor" to your animations and that's great. Do I still think you can go much further? Oh yeah! So keep going. I'm sure you've never intended to stop anyway :) (Of course, if you don't like these types of comments, I'm more than happy to stop. A hobby is a hobby and I get that.) Edit: Oh and big fan of the song, I'll be listening to this for the next week. :thumb_up:

I dunno why, I cant stop watching this video. The animation is so smooth, and so eyecatching.. the movements are so unique, you can tell how a character feels without speaking.
