i’ve had this cover stuck in my head for 2 whole days now, honestly it’s so good! everything about it, the instrumental remix, the vocal tuning, and the mv each have so much quality and creativity packed into it and all of it comes together to nail home a brand-new take on this vocaloid classic. the deliberate tempo definitely evokes something out of a video game like tetris, which is brought up as a theme in the video. the tuning on len and kaito is exactly what it needs to be, and i really appreciate how neither one drowns the other out (kaito tends to lack the power and clarity that len has which makes them tricky in a duet - but he sounds perfect here!). genuinely amazing work.
