Even tho some days I wanted to beat them to a pulp, i miss the people i used to go to high school with. the animosity only came from the fact we were forced into a stressful environment, pitted against each other, and in the end had no other outlet than our own emotions (which were going haywire). Looking back I can and will forgive every single person who ever bullied me, but maybe I'm just lucky. Looking back I can and will apologize for not standing up for some people I was only casually friends with. Looking back I can and will hope my teachers saw me the same way I saw them. I still live in the same city, and the familiar faces pass by like ghosts of memories. A part of me wants to shout "I KNOW YOU FROM [HIGH SCHOOL]" but there's only so much I remember, you know? So they pass by. I watch. I wonder if they're happy.
