I just wish they had camera’s on the police bikes. Some cry just to get away with their infringements. When he was speeding and weaving the idiot was putting others in danger including his mother….the traffic police here are always doing a hard job on the roads.

This is an example that Philippines' democracy is so absurd, first of all if you were stopped by an enforcer, with or without violation you should stop and provide the necessary documents that they will request.. Sila na nga may mali sila pa ang galit.. In other countries if you show that kind of attitude you will automatically be detained and eventually be arrested.

Been in many countries. Western Europe, Schengen Regions, North America and Japan. Although I'm not against you but to some people It's normal behaviour. It also happens to all the countries I've been to especially in the US and Japan. It has nothing to do with democracy It's all up to human behaviour. Why do we always blame it on democracy? When I was in China in late 80s I often see protestor along the roads even though they're communist party. I guess the other countries you're refering to are Africa and South America because I've never reach to those regions.

One of the solutions to end the "NO HELMET" violators is to penalize them as much as the cost of a helmet. This way instead of paying the violation fee they will be compelled to use that money to buy a helmet. License and registration document should be demanded by the enforcers to verify that the driver is the owner or that the vehicle was not reported as stolen.

1500 penalty for no helmet and you can buy a helmet for 1000.

@@neilfishingcamp Those helmets are not really that good. Most probably fake and doesn't have the true certifications of allowed helmets. The one's that are really good and allowed cost around 3k plus. But for me, the best thing is to impound the motorcycle for non helmet users. That would really push them to wear it. At the same time, if it's just a ticket, they would just ride again without a helmet after getting the ticket and they might get into an accident.

Here in US if you don’t cooperate with the police, they’ll tase you or using a baton too! Resisting arrest could land you in jail. If you can not bail, you stay! End of discussion. Laws in the Philippines are so easy peasy!!
