Hello everyone! Anyone else feeling nostalgic? XD Mermaid Melody has always held a very special place in my heart and is the series that really sparked my interest in lyric adapting and the youtaite community in general. My original project began and was completed during the summer of 2012. I had absolutely no idea what I was doing mixing wise and it was my first time working with a large cast. It amazes me how those covers touched so many people and still get a lot of love today, so I decided it was time to give "Legend of Mermaid" a glow up to say thank you for all of the support and to show how much we've all improved over the last 6 years! I was fortunate enough to be able to reassemble most of the original mermaid crew and I had the opportunity to work with some talented new vocalists as well! I'm super happy with how far we have come and I hope you all love this cover as much as I do. Pichi Pichi Pitch! Live Start! :)

As a big fan of your Mermaid Melody dub lyrics and songs, I'm thrilled that you've made a revamp for Legend of Mermaid, one of my favorite songs in the series. I can really see how you've improved since you started working on those songs. You have always done a great job at converting the Japanese lyrics into English verses while keeping the right flow and tempo, and here the song seems especially fluid. Each voice has a vivid and heartfelt character, giving the singers a sense of individuality and emotion. My compliments to everyone involved in singing the ballad! And when all those voices come together, we get a beautiful rainbow of musical talent! I think part of what attracted me to the show's songs is the way that the mermaids are sincerely expressing their emotions in the song and then combining their hearts together in harmony. You managed to capture that same feeling, and I applaud you. Plus, I liked how you didn't just settle for a "full" set of seven but went over the top with all eight mermaids. It's not that often we get to hear both Sara and Seira in the same song.

I really put a lot of time and effort into trying to make lyrics that flow in English but still keep the heart and flow of the Japanese version of the song. Since you're back to doing dubs for Mermaid Melody, any chance you could do a full dub for Taiyou no Rakuen (Promised Land)? Right now, I think you have just the shorter version rather than the whole song. HELLOOOOOO CHILDHOOOOD! You’ve all matured with me, and the anime. It’s really nice to see. Kind of bittersweet too though... I’ll never forget being a 9-10 year old singing this in random places cause I wanted to 😂 oh and desperately wanting to become a voice actress. It’s weird cause I remember losing sight of that dream. But then, something happened... I saw a casting video for Mermaid Melody and it sent me to this song from your channel... THAT made me remember my dreams and it’s probably also why I’m here now. Sherralynn lynn I’ve done Love Live projects every summer for the last 4 years and this year I decided to take a break and focus on some other projects that I wanted to do (like my Uta no Prince Sama collab and this song).
