This really has made me rethink how I've seen Bandai japan and their relationship with power rangers. I always got the impression it was somewhat stifling specifically how Robo designs were limited by Zord Buoilder the but to see a seemingly intentional revival of Zord builder makes me rethink it, this is very much a case of not throwing out the baby with the bathwater.

They're currently co-existing. I don't know what they're doing for Gozyuger yet with the toys. I heard the articulation wasn't as big of a hit in Japan with KingOhger. I always appreciate articulation when we're animating something. In general toys are on a shelf, and they all look fine regardless of how much articulation they have. I'm happy with most things. I do think the Robo Universe line is a lot of fun. I also appreciated Zordbuilder. The more things they release, the more you can build. They're toys, they're meant to be fun. I like the idea of toys from this year being compatible with your toys from last year, and next year, etc. I do hope they continue this line in addition to whatever else they're doing for the main.

You’re about two weeks early with the Christmas decorations Bruno, ( I’ll let it slide though) also I knew about the scene from episode three of tog q oh and I think the reason why you were shamming yourself was in case you did something in the near future. ( mittens disapproving you was kind of funny) and the trivia answer is Angel Grove High School ( I think krypton high was a Superman reference plus Brighton isn’t a bad name for a town somewhere in the power rangers universe)

I wanted to make sure the focus was on the display and train vs when it's okay to put up decorations, so before I spent the week putting that together, I consulted the experts! Officially there's no right or wrong time to put up Christmas decorations, but for many Christians, it's traditional to start putting up Christmas decorations on Advent Sunday, i.e. the fourth Sunday before Christmas Day. Ultimately it's whenever you want, and people in my neighborhood already have trees and decorations up, they've been selling Christmas stuff at Target since October, and I think Hobby Lobby puts their decorations out in June. If you wait until August you're out of luck!

Theres things about both that I wish could be blended: 1. RU looks like it has actual elbows and hips. 2. The shoulders on 2014 are taller than RU and match the show suit more. 3. 2014 has a much fancier sword and the back is more attractive than RU. 4. The articulated bits seem like theyd lend well to the safari lion.

I'm using the fancy re-release ToQOh here, which has die-cast and chrome, but either way the original sword is of course fancier. The original sword is compatible with the new version if you simply wanted to swap weapons.

I was there for 30 years too, but I don't like what they're doing now. The series and the toys are all produced so cheaply, so I sold everything from 30 years ago. I only have a very small collection from the beginning, Mighty Morphin' to a bit of Wild Force, and that's it for the quality. Nowadays, things are too cheap for me, even in China. Oh, you've missed tons of great toys since Wild Force which was an incredible line, possibly the best ever. Boukenger and Shinkenger were also incredible and so many others, plus all of the fancy Legacy and premium Bandai/memorial edition stuff, I guess there are tons of things you haven't seen. The show was originally produced so cheaply. Filming more original footage costs more, not less. Current Sentai season is phenomenal. Toys featured here are not for collectors, but very fun. Not sure why so many fans stay in the fandom when they hate everything, but there is plenty to enjoy and love.

I hope for this line, they at least do some older robos from Sentai history too, like Battle Fever Robo, DaiDenjin, BioRobo, and LiveRobo, just so it's not all from Boukenger onwards. Since I know at best with post-Jetman shows, we're no doubt gonna get the likes of Daizyujin, GaoKing, MagiKing, and DaiBouken because they're popular, but I'd oddly love to see RV Robo and VictoryRobo too, I think they'd be unlikely but perfect for the line in my mind.
