T Kelce has shown us how TE's can last if they are him and play in the Chiefs offense. G Kittle plays a completely different game in his offense for the 49ers. I cannot see G Kittle playing as long as T Kelce...he's perpetually injured and playing injured.

Really appreciate Albert for stressing how valuable Aiyuk is to the 49ers, compared to Deebo. If anyone tells you that Deebo is or would be a better X receiver than Aiyuk, they don’t know football.

Deebo makes the Niners offense go not Aiyuk and it’s not just his play making it’s the physicality and swagger he plays with

They are different players who impact the offense in different ways and both important to the offense. Aiyuk is younger and is a more traditional receiver for a timing based QB. But Deebo makes game changing plays, and now theres Pearsall and Cowing, and rule changes on kickoffs. It's all good. They aren't gonna pay either of them like Jefferson

Higgins is making almost $22 mil this year. He didn’t play like a $20 mil guy last year and he will make 3-4X what he did last year. I’m a diehard Bengals fan, he can gripe and want more, they all do! If someone else wants to pay him $25 mil next year, let them. We got JB & Chase and a whole host of other offensive weapons. Cincy is one of very few teams that doesn’t cave to the divas in the league!

@@colecaine. For sure, it's not necessarily the per year salary. It's the length of the contract. I don't blame any player for wanting a long term deal. I'm a Bengals fan and I would love to have Higgins long term. Who knows, the Bengals might be able to sign him although it looks unlikely. Higgins will play hard this year, it will serve him no purpose to loaf or sit out. And he's always been a total professional. Then we'll see after that.

You can think that but clearly the NFL and teams think you are wrong. On the offensive side of the ball, what’s more impactful and valuable than WR? QB and tackle? That’s it.

@colecaine. I'm not in total undisputed opinion on wr. You're correct, I'm an 52 year old lifelong niners fan. It's just salary cap management is just a thing now. Teams do the "were all in" thing. And it has worked. Bucks, eagles and rams showed that. Ring is a ring, all those teams fell fast and hard but they got the trophy 🏆. But as I said cap management can lead to sustainable success and multiple titles, "cheifs". Sadly my niners didn't get one of those two, but it was fun watching em run at it! Which brings me to cap. Niners chiefs Excell at this. Chiefs speak for themselves and niners have 4 nfc title games and two superbowl appearances in 5 years! Cap management. I'm just not sold on the 30 million $ wr. The obvious, injury flushes it. But also relies heavy on injuries across the offense especially the quarterback! Being 5 spots for it, relying on quarterback health and o-line health is paramount to getting the ball to one guy who you also hope is healthy. Seems like receivers are made of glass theses days. Now stud like Megatron , absolutely pay him 30 million. Cheetah is the only one I'd pay that much for right now. Time will tell.

Along with the QB they're tying up about a 3rd of a team's cap, which makes it paramount that each team has to draft a pipeline of players to step in when the prices get too high, which we know is very, very difficult to sustain. Where is the money for stud OL's and Edge guys? Now you're up to well over half your cap on 5-6 players.

Aiyuk averaged 17.9 yards per catch last year. That's 1,342 yards on only 75 catches. It's crazy what people think is a possession receiver or a game manager nowadays. They're both playmakers. You don't have to run down one to praise the other.

Yea, the word "if" is working very hard there for Breer, "If" they're offered a 1st round pick, sure, a trade might happen. He's talking about a mid season trade though, so that changes the math a little. It would mean Deebo is having a decent year, he's healthy, but isn't getting enough targets because he's on a loaded offense, and a team like the Jets is doing well but feels they need that extra player to push them over the top. The 49ers made a trade like that for Sanders in 2019. Deebo is a lot younger and still in his prime, so he'll get better than the 2 mid round picks. Maybe a 2nd and a late rounder.

Jeffersons contract made Deebos under market. He is the best playmaker on the market. He fits on pretty much any roster in the NFL, because he is unique. He has the perfect skill set for the new kickoff Return rules. Yeah, they can get a first for deebo, but can you draft a deebo with a first? No chance. Definitely tradeable if they want to do it.
