Well, this is kind of rude to ask of you, my apologies, but my doctor won't be in till Monday and I'm kinda stressing about it. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I have not had any known outbreaks of HS1 OR HS2. But these were my results today, IGG AND IGM: Negative 1.09

Do you have to get blood drawn for each type of titer test? I see online there are different prices for like Hep B and MMR and so on. Or does that only mean I just pay for all those tests done on one blood sample if i wanted to?

All of these titer tests can be performed through a single blood draw although the phlebotomist might take multiple vials of blood in order to have enough blood to perform the lab testing. I was wondering the same thing. I will be going to school for phlebotomy in June, and they said I need to be updated on certain vaccines. I know I was vaccinated as a child, but I would much rather have titers done instead of getting more when I don’t need them. How many tubes should I expect them to take, and which color tube so I may study those? I will be doing MMR, Varicella, Quantiferon (TB), Tdap, and Hep B.

My Mumps ABS, IGG is slightly low 10.9 AU/mL & My Rubella Antibodies, IGG is also low 0.99 index how do I get it to be a normal level? I’ve never had this problem before please help. What does this mean? I’m so worried. I think working with patients 1:1’s at my last job bc I’ve never got this before.

Low numbers mean you need to have the vaccines again, then your numbers will improve.

My rubeola was negative but rubella and mumps was positive what do I do?

In the US, a separate rubeola vaccine is not available. Instead, the rubeola vaccine is only available as part of the MMR vaccine. Most people who have a negative result to one of the MMR titer components need to get the MMR vaccine series again, depending on why the titer testing was performed and who is asking for the lab results.
