U-he synths are awesome! I love Zebra, Diva, Repro-5, Repro-1. Apart from tactile feeling, I no more regret using my old Polysix and Juno 106

Serum may be easier to use but Zebra definitely sounds way better - especially for cinematic music.

I'm having issues with the way LFOs interact with filter cutoff. I'll have it set to like a Triangle wave, Restart set to Free and Sync to like 8/1, and it just kind of randomly moves around, almost like a sample & hold or something. I've been troubleshooting for like an hour & I just can't get it to behave like even other U-He soft synths, any pointers?

Change the restart to gate this will make it so the wave starts from the same position in the wave each time. The starting position can then be changed by using the Phase Control. If you have a modulation source active on the LFO's amplitude such as the ModWhl keep in mind this can limit the range causing the phase knob to have less control. Free mod will make the movement random, you can change the waveform to user to see this more clearly. If you decide to use phase to offset it while using the user waveform keep in mind that a large waveform will be barely effected by phase while a short one like 1/64 will offer much more range.

Are you still using the demo? The demo randomly changes notes after a few minutes.

My Zebra2 keeps playing the notes higher or lower than I want to. Does anyone know how I can turn this off?
@nichoyeah3 жыл бұрын
That's all very cool. But where do you switch on poly, so it's not just playing single notes
@BappinProductions3 жыл бұрын
In the global tab. Change it from mono to poly.

Were you trying the demo version? It will play wrong notes after a while. :)

This is a great starter video for Zebra, much more in depth than a simple “here’s all the presets” videos. Those are fine for what they are.
