I was under the assumption that it was all kinda like the matrix cause Esil couldn’t speak freely to Jin woo and none of the demons could be resurrected. He could have been made slightly weaker to give him a chance. Also we didn’t really see anything from any of the other monarchs apart from frost, beast and destruction

@@jamesmcmillin796 I can actually answer this. this baran is merely a copy. a weak immatation made by the archetichet. the real one was killed by Ashborn after the monarchs betrayed him. the architchet made him for sung jinwoo to fight. but the thing is. this baran is far weaker than his original. in the light novel. he's said to be the weakest. though I have my doubts on that. considering he was the one who was sent to fight Ashborn alongside the beast. it's just ashborn was way too powerful.
