The New RG Winston and Egon figures look a lot less friendly than the original ones. They look like they're trying be action figures that are supposed to be tough as nails, eat nails, and then shoot nails right out of their butt. Although how effective that would be on ghosts is questionable.

Phelan, I always assumed GB2 is cannon in the Real Ghostbusters universe because Egon specifically references Vigo in the episode "Partners In Slime" They also coat Peter with the mood slime...of course it's Coulier Venkman...🙄

2-3-19 Actually the events of both movies, are canon in the cartoon. From flashback story told by Peter to a reporter about their first ""real case". The exploded roof at the firehouse, beige suits covered in Stay Puft remains, and the reason for the uniform change shown in the flashback. In one of the last episodes in 1991, Egon made a comment to Peter about Vigo. Walter Peck is even in the cartoon, in earlier episodes. The all purple card back on the select figures, is a homage to the 1986 kenner wave 1 Real Ghostbusters cards, before they were re-released in purple with the the inner pink color. I think that Egon and Winston figures were released first in select, because in the card back of the Kenner first/second wave, Egon and Winston were paired together, and Peter and Ray were paired together.

I don't like when these get released separately because you always run the risk of the other figures just not coming out. I know TMNT does this sometimes where you will get 2 of the turtles and then the other 2 never come out. I was burnt once (with the Playmobil ones) and from now on I wait until all 4 get released before I buy them.

Hey Phelous stick the trap wire into some super hot water for a moment, it should heat up the plastic and shape it back to its original state (or just heat it up, set it up the way you like and put it under cold water to make it keep the shape, it should do the trick)

I just realized that the background sheets you used for your booklet zone (orange) and the official stuff (purple) are the same colour background used in the G1 autobots and decepticons ships background. If they were gonna make figures of some of the season 1 villains then they would either make the box's bigger since some of them are bigger then the ghostbusters or you have to do a little assembly after taking them out of the box

You could always try dipping the bent part on the trap in some near boiling water for about a minute, see if it'll get back to it's original shape (then set it by pouring or dipping it in cold water afterward.) On another note, these figures look pretty darn awesome :D

I purchased all the diamond select figures that came with diorama parts and almost every figure broke in some way. Mostly the cables connecting the proton packs to the guns. and most of the streams snapped. The real ghostbusters line have lasted the longest as those parts are a vast improvement over all the previous figures. They finally got the durability right and the stopped producing ghostbusters figures. I wish the would release figures of the ghosts from ghostbusters 2 and some of the ghosts from real ghostbusters. Then start an extreme ghostbusters line of figures. The thing that really disappoints me about diamond select figures is they don’t come with a bonus mini figure of a random ghost. That was always my favourite thing about Kenner toys.

Remove the water and wait for the boiling to stop, dip the bended part in the hot water, wait for the plastic to re shape itself, wait for it to heat and the polymar particles to re-arrange themselves, rest back in their original forms, and go back to their casting positions, (few moments) then take the plastic piece out and either keep it till it cools down, or dip it in colder wated to help it retain its new but original factory casting-shape. :-) Some people might use a hot blow-dryer, but I prefer boiling water. Also, you can use bathroom heater water and put the bended plastic peace under the faucet, leave it till it is hot, take it out, and switch to cold water.. and you are done! :o)

Wrong color belt, supposed to be darker, cant get 90 degrees with the single joint elbows and knees. And that slimer is the worst offender. The torso cut is ugly, and with them having the same body, we wont have short fat ray and tall skinny egon.
